About the product

What does the Solvexis™ 2-in-1 actually do?

It is one rechargeable unit that does two jobs: it jump-starts a 12 V vehicle using the supplied clamps, and it inflates tyres using the supplied inflation hose, up to a maximum pressure of 150 PSI, confirmed by Solvexis against the unit we ship. It also has a USB-A output for charging a device, and a built-in LED light with illumination, strobe and SOS modes.

How much is it?

R999 per unit. That is the full price of the goods — Solvexis is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. Delivery, if any, is shown separately at checkout before you pay.

Will it start my car?

It is designed for vehicles running a 12 V electrical system, which is the standard on cars and light vehicles. The manufacturer estimates approximately 5–10 starts per full charge, depending on vehicle age and engine displacement. Whether a jump-start succeeds also depends on the state of your battery and the conditions on the day, so we do not guarantee it will start every 12 V vehicle. If your battery is badly degraded, or the fault is not the battery, a jump starter will not fix it.

Do I need anything else to use it?

No. The unit ships with a zippered carrying case, red and black jumper clamps with a connection module, an inflation hose, inflation adapters and a needle, a USB charging cable and a printed instruction manual. We do not sell separate accessories.

Can I charge a device from the USB-C port?

No. The USB-C port is an input used to recharge the unit itself (the manufacturer rates it 5 V / 2 A). Charging a device is done from the USB-A output, rated 5 V / 2.4 A.

Buying and payment

How do I pay?

The payment options available to you are shown at checkout before you confirm anything. You will always see the full amount payable before you pay.

Do I get a VAT invoice?

No. Solvexis is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and we cannot issue a VAT invoice. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

Delivery

Where do you deliver and what does it cost?

We deliver within South Africa. Delivery options and charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Our courier arrangements are still being finalised, so we do not publish a delivery timeframe. See our Shipping policy.

Will I get tracking?

We will email you when your order is dispatched, and we will include a tracking reference where one is available for your parcel.

Returns and refunds

I have changed my mind. Can I return it?

Yes. Under section 44 of ECTA you can cancel within seven days of receiving the goods. You need to tell us within those seven days — the parcel does not have to be back with us by then. For a change-of-mind return you pay the direct cost of sending it back. See our Return and refund policy.

It is faulty. What happens?

If the product is defective, unsafe or not what you ordered, you do not pay to return it. Under section 56 of the CPA you have six months to return defective goods, and you choose whether you want a repair, a replacement or a refund. We may need to inspect the item to establish the fault.

Do I have to report damage within 48 hours?

We ask you to tell us within 48 hours because it helps us take it up with the courier quickly. It is a request, not a deadline, and reporting later does not remove your rights.

How do I start a return?

Email itcorporations.01@gmail.com with your order number, the reason and proof of purchase. Wait for our instructions before posting anything — this is a lithium-battery product and the parcel needs the right handling.

How long do refunds take?

We aim to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days of resolving the claim, back to your original payment method. Where ECTA section 44 applies, your refund is due within 30 days of cancellation.

Safety and care

It has a lithium battery. What should I know?

Keep it away from extreme heat and do not leave it in direct sun inside a closed car for long periods. Do not charge or use a unit that is swollen, leaking, physically damaged or overheating — contact us instead. Never post a damaged battery unit through an ordinary parcel service.

Can I leave the inflator running on its own?

No. Stay with the unit while it is inflating and keep an eye on the pressure reading. The manual specifies a duty cycle of up to 7 minutes of inflation followed by 10 minutes of rest, so let the compressor cool between tyres rather than running it continuously.

How often should I charge it?

Charge it fully before first use, and top it up periodically while it is stored so it is not flat when you need it. Check the charge level rather than assuming a single charge will last indefinitely.
